TORONTO – Covid-19: in the last 24 hours in Ontario hospitalizations have dropped slightly, from 639 to 611 (and from 179 to 174 in intensive care) but the number of deaths remains high: today another 14 victims bringing the total of the province, from the beginning of the pandemic, to 12,356. →

TORONTO – The virus does not give up in Ontario: despite the comforting data of the last few weeks, today’s numbers show a growing with another 20 deaths and 779 patients with Covid-19 in the hospitals of the province, down from 914 last week but in sharp increase compared to 693 on Monday and 684 on Sunday. Of the 779 patients currently in hospital, 246 are in intensive care, a number down from the 278 on last Tuesday and also on Monday’s 249. →
TORONTO – The number of people finally hospitalized with Covid-19 in Ontario will drop below one hundred: it is the first time since the end of December, although provincial health officials recall that not all hospitals observe their data over the weekend . However, there are now 842 Covid patients, of which 281 are in intensive care. →
TORONTO – Another 92 deaths, bringing the total from the beginning to 11,160. The number of deaths recorded today in Ontario is only lower than that of January 15, 2021, when the victims were 100. A figure in stark contrast to that of hospitalizations, which fell today: patients in the hospitals of the province are now 4,016, down sharply from 4,132 a week ago. →
