Ontario: in classroom without masks, at least for now

TORONTO – Ontario school students will not have to wear masks during the fall semester: the Ministry of Education confirmed it today. The use of protective equipment will be voluntary and masks will be available to students upon request. Rapid tests will also remain available in schools.

The fall semester 2022 will therefore be the first, complete, since the beginning of the pandemic, in which Ontario students will not be forced to wear masks. Unless the situation worsens and the reintroduction of security measures is not necessary. On this, however, the government has not yet expressed itself: the details of a possible “plan B” in the event of an increase in infections are lacking.

Millionaire class action against the government: “There has never been a pandemic, now compensate us”

TORONTO – “There is no, and there has not been, a ‘Covid-19 pandemic’  beyond and/or exceeding the consequences of the fall-out of the pre-Covid annual flu”. It is one of the considerations contained in the Statement of Claim (SoC) filed in Federal Court on May 30, by 600 plaintiffs who ask, each, $ 650,000 (for a total of nearly $ 400 million) in “damages from anti-Covid measures “. The defendants are the federal government of Canada, Prime Minister Trudeau, the Ministries Freeland, Alghabra, Mendicino, the medical director Theresa Tam and other members of the federal government.

Baseball: Alessandro Volpe, the “Azzurri” dream is now closer

TORONTO – Commitment and hard work can pay off. Alessandro Volpe, a baseball player who celebrated his 17th birthday a month ago, who for years has been training every day, for hours, with self-denial and a spirit of sacrifice, is well aware of this. “Every single day since 2015. #NoDaysOff”, as the young Italian Canadian himself wrote on his Twitter profile just over a year ago. He had posted a video of a workout, which went viral, reaching 18,500 views.
