TORONTO – Since today, Ontario has eliminated the vaccination obligation and policies that required testing for Covid-19 in schools, long-term care homes and hospitals.
TORONTO – The deadline for Ontario’s long-term care homes was set for tomorrow to be fully immunized against Covid-19 but the government has decided to postpone it until December 13. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Minister of Long Term Care Rod Phillips Vanessa De Matteis: by today, however, the staff of these houses must receive at least the first dose of the vaccine. TORONTO – The Ontario government is rethinking it. After repeated no to the vaccination obligation for employees of Long-Term Care homes in the province, over the weekend he announced that all LTC operators will have to be immunized against Covid-19 by November 15. Rapid tests, which until now allowed unvaccinated staff to work in these facilities, are being shelved to make way for immunization against Covid-19. (more…)
TORONTO – The Covid-19 vaccine is expected to join the list of nine mandatory vaccines for Ontario students. This is what the Toronto Medical Officer of Health Eileen de Villa says in a report submitted to the Toronto Board of Health asked the provincial government to add this vaccine to those provided for by the Immunization of School Pupils Act.
