TORONTO – Ottawa non riesce a uscire dalla situazione di stallo entrata oggi nel suo tredicesimo giorno. Lo zoccolo duro dei camionisti del “Freedom Convoy” non ha alcuna intenzione di lasciare la capitale dove rimane in vigore lo stato di emergenza. Una manifestazione di protesta che inizialmente non sembrava creare altri problemi oltre agli inevitabili disagi, è diventata un incubo per gli abitanti e le forze dell’ordine in primo luogo…
OTTAWA – Ottawa is unable to get out of the stalemate that’s entering on its thirteenth day. The hard core of the truck drivers of the “Freedom Convoy” has no intention of leaving the capital where the state of emergency remains in force. A protest demonstration that initially did not seem to create other problems besides the inevitable inconveniences, has become a nightmare for the inhabitants and law enforcement in the first place.

TORONTO – From Ottawa to Vancouver, passing through Toronto Quebec City, Regina, Fredericton. There is no end in sight to the protests organized by the so-called “Freedom Convoy” against the vaccination obligation. But patience, in the capital, is now running out. Police Chief Peter Sloly has decided that the time has come for his officers to go “on the offensive” to end this situation. “I worked continuously 18 hours a day to be able to get the necessary resources – said Sloly – now we can go on the offensive”.
TORONTO – Second day of protest today in Ottawa. Thousands of protesters joined the “Freedom Rally” organized by a group of truck drivers to denounce the obligation of vaccination to cross the border with the United States and on Saturday they reached the Capital. The two-day protest was accompanied by an endless series of controversies, accusations and poisons destined to have a long aftermath in the immediate future. First of all, the demonstration of truck drivers, which started from British Columbia, in recent days has completely changed its nature and identity.
