In Ontario, 1,299 new infected people and 15 deaths

[GTranslate]TORONTO – Canada yesterday stood at 886,272 positive for Covid-19, an increase of 2,186 more cases than in the previous 24 hours. The number of victims – nationwide – yesterday reached 22,239 total deaths, 26 more than on Saturday. In Canada yesterday there were 834,067 people healed from the coronavirus. Ontario yesterday reached 308,296 overall positives, an increase of 1,299 new cases compared to Saturday. The total number of victims in Ontario has meanwhile risen to 7,067, with 15 more deaths than the previous day. Healed people in the province rose to 290,840, or 1,105 more than the previous 24 hours. There are 828 cases so far registered in Ontario of the English variant of Covid, 31 of the South African variant and 13 of the Brazilian one. (more…)
