Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.

Durante questo mese dal governo federale arriverà complessivamente una fornitura di cinque milioni di dosi di vaccino. Questa settimana perverranno 558.090 dosi di Pfizer, nella settimana del 19 luglio, sempre di Pfizer, giungeranno 1.208.610 dosi ed infine dal 26 luglio di dosi di Pfizer ne saranno consegnate 1.428.570…
The Portuguese-speaking communities in Toronto responded in large numbers to the appeal that Deputy Mayor Ana Bailão, made for residents to be vaccinated against Covid-19.
Throughout Saturday (June 5), many Toronto residents, the vast majority of whom were Portuguese speakers, stopped by the Covid-19 pop-up vaccination clinic at the Davenport Perth Neighbourhood and Community Health Centre to take the vaccine (Pfizer) or, in some cases, clarify doubts about the ongoing vaccination.
