Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. TORONTO – Covid-19 hospitalizations in Ontario continue to drop significantly: today there were 1,540 people admitted to hospitals in the province, yesterday they were 1,704, Friday 1,829 and last week as many as 2,493. The number of people in intensive care also dropped from 414 on Saturday to 402 today, although their number could be higher because not all hospitals report their data over the weekend. TORONTO – The number of patients in Ontario hospitals for Covid-19 drops below 2,000: it is the first time since the beginning of January.
