Welcome to the Canadian National Multilingual News Group (CNMNG). This is a project made possible through funding by Canadian Heritage. CNMNG aims to gather news researched and written by a corps of Canadian-based journalists/writers from the country’s multilingual community groups. The overall goal is to inform, analyze and critique the issues of the day in a professional manner and to provide that to publishers and editors active in the ethnocultural-multilingual press and media whose experience provides them with a perspective that is sensitive to news relevant to their own language group.
[GTranslate]ROME – International “spy story” in the heart of Rome, where an officer of the Italian Navy was arrested last night by the Ros of Carabinieri on charges of political and military espionage. The soldier, a frigate captain, was in fact surprised while he gave to an officer of the Russian armed forces, in exchange for money (5 thousand euros), some “classified” documents (top secret), during a clandestine meeting that took place in a parking lot of the capital. ROMA – “Spy story” internazionale nel cuore di Roma, dove un ufficiale della Marina Militare Italiana è stato arrestato ieri sera dai carabinieri del Ros con l’accusa di spionaggio politico e militare. Il militare, un capitano di fregata, sarebbe infatti stato sorpreso mentre cedeva ad ufficiale delle forze armate russe, in cambio di soldi (5mila euro), dei documenti “classificati”, cioè top secret, nel corso di un incontro clandestino avvenuto in un parcheggio della Capitale.
