OTTAWA – Canada will be a safe haven for more than 20,000 Afghans in a “vulnerable condition”: the Minister of Immigration, Marco Mendicino, announced it on Friday during a press conference with Foreign Minister Marc Garneau, Defense Minister Harjit Sajjan and the Minister of Women Maryam Monsef. TORONTO – Amazon’s largest plant in Brampton, Ontario has been shut down due to an ongoing investigation by the Peel Public Health Department. The facility’s at least 618, out of 5,000 employees have been infected with corona. As a result, all the employees have been asked to go on voluntary isolation for two weeks. →
