TORONTO – Now we are going from record to record: today Ontario recorded 13,807 new cases of coronavirus, beating the record of 10,436 cases on Wednesday. The seven-day moving average of daily infections has now hit another record, 10,328 – a week ago it was 4,002.
TORONTO – The virus spreads. Ontario today reported the highest number of Covid-19 cases in more than six months: 1,808. To count more in just 24 hours, we have to go back to last May 21, when the new infections in one day were 1,890. Not only that: the number of active cases has increased by about 50% in a week: seven days ago they were 8,351, now they are 12,666. →
