On Friday, health officials in Bangladesh logged 11,324 new infections, pushing the total number of confirmed positive cases passed one million. Of the cumulative total, 86.2% are considered recovered. In the last 24-hours, Covid-related deaths increased by 212, the highest number of fatalities reported in one day since the onset of the pandemic.

For the last two days in a row, health officials in the UK logged over 32,000 new infections, numbers not seen since January. Of the cumulative 5 million confirmed positive cases, 86.6% are considered recovered. Since yesterday, Covid-related deaths increased by 35, brining total fatalities to 128,336.

For the second day in a row, health officials in Bangladesh logged over 11,000 new infections. The last two days have been among the highest daily increases since the onset of the pandemic. Of the cumulative 977,568 confirmed positive cases, 87.0% are considered recovered. Since yesterday, Covid-related deaths increased by 201, a record high number of fatalities reported in one day.

On Tuesday, health officials in Bangladesh logged 11,525 new infections, the highest single day increase since the onset of the pandemic. Of the cumulative 966,406 confirmed positive cases, 87.4% are considered recovered. Since yesterday, Covid-related deaths increased by 163, one less than the record high reported the day prior.

On Sunday, health officials in Poland logged 38 new infections, the lowest daily increase throughout the whole pandemic. Of the cumulative 2.8 million confirmed positive cases, 92.1% are considered recovered. Since yesterday, Covid-related deaths increased by 1, bringing the country’s total fatalities to 75,085.
