Globally, there have been over 127 million confirmed cases of Covid-19 according to Johns Hopkins University data. Since the start of the pandemic, over 103 million people have recovered and more than 2.7 million fatalities were attributable to Covid-19.

On Sunday, Poland surpassed Mexico in total number of confirmed positive cases of coronavirus. Yesterday, an additional 29,261 new infections were reported.

The values for Spain were last updated March 26, 2021.

Another record setting day in India. As coronavirus cases race out of control, the country’s health officials reported an additional 185,248 new Covid-19 cases. That is the highest single-day increase since the start of the pandemic. (more…)

For the second day in a row, Ontario reports more than 4,400 new coronavirus infections. In the last 24-hours, provincial health officials recorded 4,401 new cases and 619 patients in the ICU due to Covid-related critical illness.
