Liberals and Conservatives still neck and neck in race for the GTA

TORONTO – The Liberal Party is ahead in voting intentions at the national level, but in the GTA the gap with the conservatives is minimal. This is the snapshot taken by three different polls published in the last twenty-four hours, which highlight how in these first stages of the election campaign the outcome of these early elections is far from already written and that, at the same time, whoever emerges winner of the result of the polls, will hardly be able to count on an absolute majority in the House of Commons.  (more…)

Ontarians still waiting for the guideline, protocols for fully immunized

TORONTO – The immunization campaign against Covid-19 continues. Despite the doubts and skepticism about heterologous vaccination – that is, mixing vaccines between the first and the second dose – caused by the failure of a supply of Pfizer to arrive in time, the roadmap desired by the Ontario Government with which it will be possible to enter phase 2 on June 30, two days earlier than planned, has been fully respected in the province.

Vaccination chaos, still problems to book the second dose

TORONTO – Tottenham, Bradford, Wasaga Beach, Orillia, Hamilton, Alliston, Innisfil, Barrie. These are some of the locations where today the availability of free places was offered for booking the second dose of vaccine to all those who live in hotspots in Ontario and who received the first dose before May 9. For Toronto residents, it’s a distance between 45 to 95 kilometres. (more…)
