TORONTO – Now it’s the Delta variant that’s scary. In communities as well as in nursing and long-term care homes. And it is precisely this strain – which is more than twice as transmissible as the first forms of the virus – that is responsible for an outbreak of Covid-19 that broke out at The Village of Tansley Woods in Burlington. After 70 years Curon Venosta has re-emerged, at least temporarily, from the water. The only visible evidence of the town in the autonomous province of Bolzano in Trentino-Alto Adige that normally emerges from the waters of Lake Resia is the Romanesque bell tower of the church of Sant’Anna. (more…)
