The Italian “Frecce” color Toronto’s sky
TORONTO – Last Canadian appointment for the North America Tour 2024 of the Air Force, yesterday, with the Frecce Tricolori flying over the city of Toronto.
Some passes of the MB339s of the National Acrobatic Team, accompanied by the traditional tricolor smoke white-red-and-green, painted the sky of the city center around the CN Tower.
An unmissable greeting to a city that boasts one of the most numerous Italian-Canadian communities in the world: in fact, the tour that the Arma Azzurra, in the aftermath of its first centenary of history celebrated in 2023, wanted to carry out is particularly dedicated to them bringing the Frecce Tricolori back to North America 32 years after the last previous one.
The tour will continue in the north-east of the United States over the weekend, with the next airshow scheduled for Rochester (New York State) on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 August. For further details on the tour and upcoming stops, click here.
